Privacy statement

Privacy at this website.

What this website collects, why it is used and how to ask a privacy question.

Effective July 19, 2024. Susman Insurance Agency operates this website and takes the privacy of prospective and current clients seriously. This statement describes the information practices on this website.

Information you choose to provide

The homepage form requests a name, email address and selected insurance or privacy topic. The homeowners form also asks for the property ZIP code, occupancy and the part of the policy you want to review. The auto form also asks for household-driver and vehicle counts. The longer request asks for first and last name, email address, ZIP code, response preference and topic, and may include a phone number and a short question. Do not enter Social Security, driver’s-license, medical, payment, claim, policy or account numbers. A form request is used to respond to you; it does not request, change or bind coverage.

How information is used

The agency uses a submitted request to evaluate the question, reply, support ordinary business records, defend the website against misuse and meet legal obligations. A visitor may also ask the agency to stop sending agency announcements. If the agency offers a text-message invitation, it will name the brand, state the expected message frequency, explain that message and data rates may apply, and provide HELP and STOP instructions. Agreeing to texts is not required to send a website request.

A telephone call may be recorded for training or quality assurance where permitted; the caller may ask not to be recorded. Recordings and client information are not shared with third parties or affiliates without legal authority. Necessary service providers may handle information only for their authorized work, and information may also be disclosed at your direction or when law, regulation, legal process or an authorized transaction requires it.

Form delivery and security

Each form has its own automated-message check, server validation and request limits. Accepted details are carried over encrypted connections to an authorized agency recipient. This website has no separate form-submission database, does not place submitted values in browser storage or a public URL, and does not write visitor form contents to routine application logs. Once delivery succeeds, normal agency mailbox retention applies. Administrative, technical and physical safeguards reduce risk, although no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed risk-free.

First-party measurement

First-party measurement records page views, page titles, broad browser or device characteristics and the referring page after its query details have been removed. It receives no form entries and works without analytics cookies. It does not link activity on this domain to a visit at another website.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control stop collection. Two bytes of a network address are masked before storage and before a general location is derived. Raw visit information is scheduled for removal after 90 days; summary totals that no longer contain the underlying visits may remain. The resulting counts help identify broken pages and understand which guides are used.

Children

This website is not directed to children under thirteen, and the agency does not knowingly request personal information from them through these forms. A child under thirteen must have permission from a parent or guardian before using this website. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information may ask that it be reviewed or removed.

Choices and questions

You may ask what information was submitted, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or ask to stop agency announcements. Use this website’s request form and choose the exact topic Privacy. That route avoids publishing an email address or telephone number and sends the question to the agency.

Changes to this statement

The agency may revise this statement when practices, legal requirements or this website change, so visitors should review it periodically. The effective date will be updated when a material revision is posted. Continued use after a revision means the current statement applies to later activity.
